Smith Fencing and Construction is a family-run fencing contractor based in Fort Worth, Texas. We started because too many fences in this area were being installed the same way regardless of the property — the same pre-fabricated panels, the same shallow post holes, the same result three summers later when the clay moves and the fence starts to lean.

We do it differently. Every project starts with someone from our crew standing in your yard, walking the property line, checking grade and asking what you actually want the fence to do. Then we fabricate the panels, gates and custom details ourselves and install them with our own crews — no subcontracted labor showing up in an unmarked truck.

That control over the whole process is why we can build a board-on-board cedar fence that steps cleanly down a sloped Arlington backyard, hang a 16-foot driveway gate in Aledo that still swings true after a hot summer, and put a commercial perimeter fence around a Dallas yard without shutting the business down.
